Went to the Rihanna concert at Ruby Skye on Friday.  Lucked out and scored amazing seats: front-row center.  Unfortunately, I forgot my normal camera and had to settle for these blurry, non-zoom shots from my phone.  She was so cute!  She wore awesome hot-pink sparkly Lobos.

Golf in Vietnam

interesting article in the NYT Travel section detailing Vietnam’s goal to become a golf destination in SE Asia…
it’s still years behind places like Indonesia, lacking developed infrastructure and having courses that seem to require significant manicuring.  but this does highlight Vietnam’s growing economic status in the region and potential as a luxury travel destination

Cal loses to UCLA
